Family Services of Peel



As a multi-service agency, we provide professional counselling, educational programs, employment support services, support for people with developmental disabilities and their families, as well as support for victims of violence and abuse.

Sensitive to cultural and social diversity, Family Services of Peel is a community-based agency that works to strengthen families, couples and individuals through guidance, coaching, mentoring, education and support.

To ensure the highest standards of care for our clients and community, we have experienced, qualified, and skilled professionals who work from a person centred anti-oppression, anti-racism framework.

The Peel Institute of Research and Training is the research arm of Family Services of Peel and was established as a collaborative initiative focusing on the prevention of all forms of violence in Peel. The Institute operates from a data-driven, evidence-informed, impact evaluation model. It includes the combined perspectives of the diverse population of Peel, clients, survivors, service providers, community agencies, and academia.


Labour Regulations and Human Rights in the Workplace

The main objective of the training is to provide knowledge about the  important relationship between labour regulations and human rights in the workplace. We will examine the various laws, policies, and international standards that govern workers' rights and seek to ensure fair and ethical treatment in employment. Throughout this course, we will delve into the fundamental principles and concepts related to labour regulations and human rights, and illustrate their application in real-world scenarios. 






FSP Apprenticeship Service

We offer apprenticeship services to employers of small/medium enterprises and workers seeking an apprenticeship.


This course helps employers improve their workplace and apprentice's experience, while it helps apprentices evaluate the quality of their workplace.


Labour and Employment


This course is meant to provide you with an introductory understanding to laws and codes your business will be subjected to in Ontario.


The goal is to ensure you have the knowledge to running a safe, legal and just workplace.
